33 weeks
35 weeks
well we are coming to the final weeks of the pregnancy... and people arent kidding that the last month is the hardest. IM EXHAUSTED! Button has started to drop, sooo, I really look like a waddling duck; i look like a beached whale stuck in the desert! Forget bending down! haha

35 weeks, buttons first Santa pic

I was asked by a friend how the pregnancy was going and if i was having any cravings... well the only cravings I have had were pickles with pumpkin bread, chai tea from starbucks, apple pie, and recently wanted ribs from Applebees. Anthony has had it easy, has only had to go to the market once to get me the pickle....and they were AMAZING!

The doctors have me on a diet to control the gestational diabetes, which kind of kills the idea of having cravings.... I blame the weekly trips to  Cold Stone to take advantage of the 50%off for preggos.  =)

I recently was getting some contractions, luckily nothing came of it! This kid needs to wait til the end of the month... I want both grandmas to be here for it! The last ultrasound said December 28 and our original due date is January 6, so we will see!! I doubt Button is going to wait til Jan 6! Wish me luck for a ALL natural birth!

buttons profile!

Today we went for our last ultrasound!! So exciting! Button will be here in no time! I am both ready and not ready all at the same time! Button weighed in today at 5lbs! And all looks great!

We are in the process of getting extra test done to see if I might have gestational diabetes, I will have all the results next week. Other than the rib kicks, bladder punch's, and the "lets poke at mommy" game that the baby and Anthony plays, we are both doing great! healthy and happy!

FYI... I passed my LVN Board Exam and am now a Licensed Vocational Nurse!  =)

Buttons bed until we go back to CA

Well button is 27 weeks, almost 28 on wed. Time is going by so quick and i cant believe it.

Today Anthony put the bed together for button. We want to have it ready and see how the cat is going to be around it with all the baby smells. So far so good! Button will be getting the crib once we get back to CA. But for now, button has this cute monkey bed(thanks Auntie Wendy!). Very exciting. Having it in the room and set up makes everything seem so much more real. I cant believe we are going to be parents! AHHH...  =)

Daddy proud of his hard work!

26 weeks!

24weeks
25weeks

Things are going great! They couldnt be better! Im so happy and complete. The pregnancy is going great , no complications....other than the sciatic pain, some growing pains, and back pain both button and I are doing just fine. I cant believe how quick time has passed, it seems like just yesterday I was delivering the news to Anthony that I was pregnant. Now look at us, IM HUGE!

So a few Updates:

*At the end of the month, Anthony and I will be taking proffessional maternity photos and doing some body art as well. I am really looking forward to that. It's going to be so much fun. I have been in contacct with our photographer and he seems amazing.
http://www.johnmckallip.com/#/port-home/
He is really excited about the ideas I have for some photos as well as the ideas he has... so now you guys have something to look forward too!

*Anthony and i have finally found a church. One thing that has been stressing me out. I really have missed the fellowship and worship! Totally stoked to get back in my swing of things. We are going to a church on base and it reminds me of my church, Christ Chapel Long Beach(http://www.christchapellongbeach.org/), in California. Which is such a blessing.

*Also, I have signed up to take my LVN boards on October 14. I'm so nervous!! But i have been buckling down and studying for it. Wish me luck and keep me in your thoughts!

*I have gotten involved with things on base as well. I recently graduated from Level 1: Army Life 101 a couple weeks ago; I have 2 more Levels left. They are basic classes to get to know the army life as a spouse, what is expected from my husband and I as a whole, and how to use the resources to the fullest that the Army provides. I will also be getting more involved with FRG(Family Readiness Group) once my boards are done. They are a group of spouses that help support each other and the battalion when they deploy.

Also, I have been doing prenatal yoga on base. WOW! Its great! Well needed that's for sure!

I have met alot of great people and really getting involved with family life. I feel i am aclamating quite well.

*Button is quite active! My mom says it sounds like I have a fighter in my belly! Button moves and kicks like crazy... Its so amazing to feel all the movements! Such a blessing! I CAN wait for Button to come...but I cant wait to see what the little one looks like or what gender. And YES, we are still waiting to find out what we are having! BUT please feel free to start a pool, just give me half the winnings!

*Lastly, I didn't forget, just in the rush and bustle of everything I didn't get a chance to mention the Beautiful Baby Shower my sister and mom threw for me in August. I was so blessed to be with so many loved ones in one place! Some I had not seen for years! Others I would of never thought would come, or expected! Button is definitely spoiled. We were blessed with almost everything we needed and didn't realize we would need for the baby. Thank you to all that came and those of you who were there in spirit. The gifts were beautiful. I know I'm still behind on the Thank You cards! I'm trying! =) Be patient with me! I love you all!

* The next Doctor Appointment is October 7th! So ill probably be giving you all a quick update next week!

* Just a note. I'm doing Send Out Cards, so if you have a chance to check it out please do! Send a free card! Something I'm doing to make some extra cash, since I'm not working, and I am using to meet people out here! It seems like every army wife I have met has their own small business....

Anywho, I'm sure I have bored you to death! Love you all, take care, and Ill keep you posted! AND if any of you are bored and want to come visit me in Texas...You are more than welcomed too! Visitor are welcomed!  ;D And the belly is opened for Art Therapy if you want to use it as a canvas! =)

We are in Texas! 22weeks and counting!

19 weeks
20week in appointment
21 weeks
First of all, I am so sorry for the delay in updating the blog. Second, I am here in Texas and loving it! The married life has been wonderful and a blessing. I am very lucky to have such a great husband who is supportive, caring, and my best friend. He is amazing!

22 weeks
Button is growing like crazy! My belly is HUGE! (or at least i feel like it is.) Button has been moving and kicking like crazy. Its amazing to feel the kicks and stretches of the baby. Button started moving a week after I was here in Texas, both Anthony and I got to feel the little kicks while laying in bed, getting ready to go to sleep. It was amazing!

Now....during the day, Button can fairly be still, however, when Anthony gets home button starts kicking up a storm! Totally a Daddys baby!  =)
It is great!

We had our first sonogram here in Texas; Anthony got to see Button, and of course Button was having a party in my belly and was "quite the active one" said the doctor.
Button now weighs 1 pound.

I am in the midst of packing and getting ready for the big move!! So I apologize for the shortness of this blog! So much has happened, going away baby shower with amazing people that I absolutely love, feeling small moments of button flutters in my belly, and not fitting in many clothes; amongst packing and getting all the final button documents ready for the move! All of which I will update you all on next week!

button is waving(right) and head(left)
here are some updated photos! 18 weeks old...weighs about 8 ounces!

Button has some kickers!! Had no problem this time getting the baby to move...BUT... a strawberry banana smoothie does help!  ;)

16 weeks and 5 days

Went to the doctor today and was hoping to see our little button... However, today we just got to hear the heart beat. Auntie Vanessa got to come with us today and listen in and be the wonderful videographer!!

Button is doing good so far! Everything physiologically is in order and is hitting all the "milestones"

We got the results from the first part of the sequential and everything came out normal. We took the labs for the second part and will find out the results from that on Aug 5. Keep buttons' health in your prayers that all the tests come back normal.

16weeks 4 days@Cowboy Country, with Auntie Lani cheesing with Button!
Last night we went to Cowboy Country, my last night there until I come back to CA with the baby! We had so much fun! Lots of dancing, pitchers of water, and good friends there to see button and I off. Button definitely got a good dance workout and I'm sure will be coming out dancing to a two-step or maybe a tush-push!
Button got many hugs and baby talks...everyone in shock to see the baby bump and I got many good luck rubs... I felt like a Buddah! "Rub the belly for good luck!"

UPDATE

Awe little button at 13 weeks. Trying to update since we are starting this in 15 weeks late. ;)

July 26 is the next appointment and last appointment before the big move! So excited! We will be 16weeks old! Even in the belly they grow so fast! it feels like yesterday when i found out i was pregnant.

Watching button hang out! Button gave the doctor such a hard time, not turning over or moving the way she wanted....yep stubborn just like daddy! I ensured the Doctor the baby got that trait from the daddy! ;) Best part is, the daddy would agree!

Dear Button,

You are 15 weeks and 4days. You are getting so big so quick. Just to think 15/16 weeks ago you were just a twinkle in my eye (that's what your grandma B would always say)....

Daddy and I had no idea that 15 weeks later we would be anticipating our first little button. We are both VERY excited, scared, nervous, anxious.... playing a guessing game of what you will look like; will you have daddy's red hair? will you have my green eyes? will the Scandinavian skin come out or will you have a bronze color to your skin? Daddy wonders if you will have his nose(which he thinks is big;but isnt) or my nose(which he says is little and cute; your dad is silly, thats why we love him!)

We have already been going over names. If you are a boy you will be our John Anthony; if a girl...well you might have ten different names... we cant seem to make up our minds. John Anthony was easy. I told your dad a long time ago if i had a boy i would name him after his Grandpa(mommys daddy) and have Anthony(your daddy) be the name. 2 strong and amazing men that are in and were in my life. (Telling you about grandpa is a whole other long letter.) So now we are just stuck on Girl names....daddy likes Austin & Pikacchu right now... I have to say the second one is not one of my ideas.... I like Austin and River, some others on the list...Melody, Felicity, Penelope, Eve, Zoey, Audrey, Kayla, Olivia, Madeline, Madison, Ellie, Ivy, Serena.... your middle name would be Gale. (mommy's middle name)

Ooo Button, you have changed mommy and daddy's life forever, neither of us thought we would be here right now, truly blessed with you on the way.

You are already so loved and SOOOO spoiled!

Til later,
Mommy and Daddy
